Had a wonderful time modeling for a photography class in Hidecho, Yokohama, Japan
Alfie teaches photography around Tokyo doing photo walks and similar shoots like the one we did on Saturday
Definitely one of the best photographers I have ever worked with and he also taught me a lot about photography and gave me feedback on poses
It was a bit surreal going back to the city I was born in, especially since I was adopted by a White-American Navy family
Modeling provided me with a way to reconnect with my lost culture while having very little knowledge of Japanese culture and an extremely limited amount of Japanese vocabulary

Shot from the roof of our flat a year or so ago. A new 14-floor building about 500metres from our place has now killed this view.

I’m currently longing for autumn….
Shot this last year. Can’t wait to have the trees looking like this again. Summer’s been long and hot here in Tokyo. Give me a cool autumn breeze and golden trees for a view any-day, over the suffocating heat and mosquitoes of the summer.
