I’m a British freelance photographer now living in Tokyo and this is my digital scrapbook. Ideas for me, ideas for people I teach photography to here in Tokyo.
As for my own work, I trained in photography & film between 1988 and 1991, in Manchester and Plymouth in the UK. I spent almost 12 years in the music business, in the publicity and promotions side of things during which time I had a lot of my music photography published in the UK press and abroad. From 2002 to early 2008 I ran a web design business in the UK. Since then I have been concentrating all my time on shooting and teaching photography.

I shoot for some magazines and papers here [TIME, Wall St Journal, BBC and others], have a number of regular private commissions and shoot a wide range of commercial work. Please get in touch if you have any questions or what to hire me for a shoot.
